Richard D. Dvorak, HIPAA presenter and round table director at the National Home Infusion Association (“NHIA”) annual conference in Dallas, Texas, April 8-10, 2013 is honored for the opportunity to participate with such a great group of professionals. First, I want to express my appreciation for the how the members of this association and the home infusion industry try to make a difference in the lives of hundreds of thousands of patients by bringing health care to their homes or alternate infusion sites. Second, I also want to express my appreciation for the serious and conscientious interest that the members and attendees at the conference gave to my speech about HIPAA/HITECH Enforcement and Compliance requirements.
Third, also at the NHIA convention, two of the companies that I own with Jonathan P. Tomes, Veterans Press, Inc., and EMR Legal, Inc., had a booth staffed by our Director of Marketing and Client Services, Patrick R. Head II, to showcase our HIPAA compliance tools and HIPAA compliance services. We appreciate all of the members that stopped by our booth. Contact Patrick at 855-341-8783 to ask about special deals on our HIPAA compliance tools and HIPAA compliance services.
Finally, the accompanying photo below shows me with the winners of our contribution of a prize offering in the bingo game presented by NHIA at the convention: (left to right) Maria Frank, me, Terri P. Marshall, and Kari Barteet, of National Pharmacy Services. They won a free offsite HIPAA compliance gap analysis ($500 value) from EMR Legal, Inc.
